The Markham Holiday Inn was at the forefront of development in Markham's business district 20 years ago. Today this thriving community has grown into a vibrant city, assimilated into the GTA and supporting exponential growth.
Challenge
The Markham Holiday Inn needed to reposition itself in their new competitive environment, marketing their updates and new service offerings to both leisure and corporate travelers. Embracing this compelling medium would be the cornerstone of new efforts targeting corporate business promoting the hotels Meetings and Conference services.
Solution
Working collaboratively with the hotel management team VeriticalChaos identified key business objectives and prioritized the requirements to hotel needed to achieve.
Rebuilding corporate clients and winning back old loyalties had to focus on service and the experience the hotel offered its guests. New marketing efforts would reinforce the value of service as a primary differentiator. Images and site content would deliberately extend the service proposition reinforcing visually the value and brand promise the hotel offered. Intuitive navigation and site tools feature scale drawings and architectural details all offering better communicative tools planners and clients needed organize events.
Outcome
An renewed awareness of the hotels brand and history in Markham enriching the relationship for corporate clients and capturing new business through aggressive local and national level promotional campaigns. The value of our imagery choices and interface considerations has raised awareness and encouraged new loyalty and reinforced older relationships.
